A shaving bar rather than a can of foam

A 100g solid shaving soap with activated charcoal and cracked black pepper, cold pressed and made by hand. Wet it, work up a lather with a brush or your hands, and shave as normal.

One bar replaces a lot of cans

A bar lasts between six and twelve months depending on how often you shave. There is no aerosol, no plastic tub and nothing to throw away at the end except the paper it came in.

For anyone who shaves anything

The same bar works on faces, legs and underarms.

Making it last

Let it drain and dry between shaves. A bar left sitting in water will not see out the year.
