Bamboo Salad Servers Red

A spoon and fork pair for tossing and serving salad at the table. Each one is 30cm long, so you can reach the bottom of a deep bowl without putting your knuckles in the dressing. Bamboo is light in the hand and will not scratch or mark a wooden, ceramic or glass bowl.

Light enough to use one-handed

Spun bamboo weighs very little, so the pair can be worked with one hand while you carry the bowl in the other. The edges are sanded and polished smooth, and the fork has a shallow notch to hold leaves and grate through them rather than crush them.

Colour that runs to the handle, not the food

The top of each handle is finished with layers of coloured lacquer, applied by hand and built up over several coats. The serving ends are left as bare sanded bamboo. Red against pale bamboo reads well in a mixed table setting and picks up other reds in a place setting or napkin.
