A honey coloured bead on a plain silver hoop
A polished 10mm honey jade bead hangs from a small half hoop in silver. The stone is a warm mustard gold, evenly coloured all over, with a soft waxy shine rather than a glassy sparkle. Against bright white metal it reads as warm and quiet rather than showy.
The fastening does the work of a butterfly back
The hoop is hinged, and the post simply goes through the ear and clicks into the other side. There is no separate back to lose, and nothing to fiddle with behind the ear.
